When I launched this blog in late March, I decided to promote it using Google AdWords, a pay-per-click (PPC) advertising program I have very successfully used in the past. I had no idea how much traffic I would get.
When I got out of prison on June 28, I checked my AdWords Account, only to discover I had spent $4,854.44! I decided to suspend the advertising until I could review it later.
How much traffic did I get for my money?
Well, my ad -- which appeared if someone searched Google for "federal prison", "prison stories", "jail stories", "prison diary", or "jail diary" or visited one of Google's content partners whose website was relevant to one of those search terms -- appeared 22,333,543 times!!! 37,542 people clicked on the ad at an average cost of $.13 per visitor.
I never really had a profit motive for launching this site, although I have had much success with internet marketing in the past. I may however put together a "Federal Prison Camp Survivor's Guide" and sell it as an e-book on this site. It would be a more structured version of what I share already.
I don't know yet... just an idea.

How can one purchase this e-book or guide? I am interested
It isn't written yet. It is just an idea at the moment... I hadn't planned on doing it. For the time being, you will have to settle for the blog, unorganized though it may be. Sorry.
Nearly 40k visitors!!! WOW! I wish my blog got that many hits in that amount of time... although not at that price ;)
